RCI added 29 new affiliated resorts in Asia in 2016

RCI added 29 new affiliated properties in Asia in 2016, growing its vacation exchange network to more than 400 vacation options in this region.

The additions, which include some resorts currently under construction, further strengthen RCI’s position as the global leader in vacation exchange, with more than 4,300 affiliated resorts in nearly 110 countries.

Jonathan Mills, managing director of RCI Asia Pacific, said: “The entire RCI team is extremely proud of the growth we have seen in Asia and India with nearly 30 new affiliated resorts.

“These affiliations are a reflection of our investment in these areas for the vacation ownership industry, and the potential we see, particularly in countries like India and China.”

The affiliations in India included two properties by JC Residency. Hotel JC Residency, Kodaikanal invites guests to relax in an idyllic and serene setting amongst the area’s rolling green hills. JC Residency, Madurai is a luxury property that features impressive architecture and elegant design that mixes modernism and traditionalism.

Also in India, three new resorts were added to the exchange network by Sterling Holiday Resorts India Limited. These included the Sterling Anaikatti by the Siruvani in Palakkad, India, which is a riverside resort that draws inspiration from the nearby Siruvani River. The resort’s buildings are even crafted from the surrounding pinewood trees.

In Vietnam, Karma Cây Tre joined RCI’s exchange network. Set in Hoi An on the country’s central coast, the property enjoys a riverside location. The airy and spacious rooms are found amidst tropical gardens for a rejuvenating escape, but close enough to the historic downtown that travelers can also experience unique culture and cuisine.
