Hilton debuts modern skyscraper hotel in Fuzhou

Visitors to the rapidly expanding Chinese city of Fuzhou now have access to some of its most striking views with the opening of Hilton Fuzhou, the city’s second Hilton property.

The new hotel occupies levels one, four and 39-55 of the iconic Sandi Lianbang Building and is conveniently located in the thriving Jiangbin region, near the Fuzhou International Finance Center and Wanglongtai Park.

Hilton Fuzhou has 331 well-appointed, building-top rooms and suites featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that offer breathtaking views of the city and riverfront. The guest room bathrooms feature contemporary amenities including stand-alone bathtubs and showers stocked with a full set of refreshing bath products. The Executive guest rooms and suites come with Executive Lounge privileges such as daily buffet breakfasts, afternoon tea and evening cocktails.

Sean Wooden, vice president, brand management, Asia Pacific, Hilton, said: “Fuzhou is one of China’s fastest-growing cities, attracting large numbers of business and leisure travelers with its robust economy, pleasant weather and historical significance.

“The opening of our second Hilton property in Fuzhou underscores our commitment to providing Hilton’s signature hospitality to guests in the places that matter to them the most.”

In addition to the Executive Lounge, Hilton Fuzhou contains three restaurants that offer authentic local and international flavour, as well as recreational facilities including an indoor, infinity pool and a 24-hour Fitness Center.

Qian Jin, area president, Greater China & Mongolia, Hilton, said: “Hilton is committed to expanding our presence in China. We have a robust pipeline that is more than two times our current portfolio in this strategically critical market. We recently celebrated our 100th hotel opening here, and are pleased to be adding Hilton Fuzhou to our portfolio in Southern China.”
