Karma Group parties to celebrate 25th anniversary
Leading luxury developer Karma Group held its annual awards recently, in a gala event that also included a celebration of 25 successful years in business.
Founded in 1993 in Goa, India by John Spence, Karma has gone on to operate 29 resorts in more than 10 countries, including Australia, France, Germany, Greece, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the United Kingdom.
The awards and silver anniversary event took place at Bali’s culturally-inspired beachfront venue Taman Bhagawan, and the party-style event was a typical example of Karma’s philosophy to “work hard and play harder”.

The dress code was ‘Silver Jubilee’, and the party was an evening of celebration for more than 1,200 Karma staff from South East Asia. The invitation list also included over 30 VIPs such as key media and industry partners from the region.
Entertainment was supplied by Bali’s Orange Productions, with guests dancing the night away to Bali band The Hydrant. All enjoyed the superb event organised by Karma Group’s global brand curator, Clinton Albuquerque.
There evening also saw the presentation of 21 awards for excellence on the night as well as 49 awards to staff members who have given more than 10 years of service to the company.
