Moana Sands Group opens resort in Rarotonga

Moana Sands Group has announced the official opening of the Moana Sands Lagoon Resort, located on the world-famous Muri lagoon in Rarotonga.

The move sees Moana Sands, a franchise partner of Pacific Resort Hotel Group, continue its goal of expansion and long-term sustainability in the Cook Islands.

The resort is comprised of 24 rooms located in a two-storey beachfront complex, all with stunning lagoon views and a patio or balcony, the modern facilities tastefully complimented by a modern Polynesian décor. There are 22 Deluxe Lagoon Studios and two Lagoon Suites, all with air-conditioning and a host of amenities.

The centrepiece of the resort is a large logo embossed salt-water swimming pool, complete with sun lounging deck and a swim up pool bar. Guests will also be able to enjoy the sunshine and views from the on-site Laguna restaurant and bar.

Moana Sands Lagoon Resort is designed for guests aged 18 years and over, making it ideal for those seeking a romantic getaway or solo travellers.

The new property joins the Moana Sands Group’s existing portfolio of the family friendly Moana Sands Beachfront Hotel and Moana Sands Beachfront Villas, which are located on south side of Rarotonga, along the pristine Titikaveka and Vaimaanga beaches.
