New manager for Ramada Resort at Mount Hotham

Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific has appointed Jack Hudson as resort manager of Ramada Resort by Wyndham Dinner Plain Mt Hotham, situated in Victoria’s High Country, Australia.

The resort is one of 32 in the WorldMark South Pacific Club, a vacation ownership club with more than 58,000 owners served by Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific, a division of the world’s largest vacation ownership and exchange company, Wyndham Destinations.

Hudson started working with Wyndham more than four years ago as a guest services agent at Ramada by Wyndham Marcoola Beach, which is also part of the WorldMark South Pacific Club collection.

Prior to his new appointment, he was front office and reservations manager at the same property and excelled overseeing all hotel operations, as well as a number of relief manager stints at other Wyndham properties throughout Australia.

Warren Cullum, Wyndham Destinations Asia Pacific vice president of Operations Australia, New Zealand & the South Pacific, said Hudson had a track record of providing the highest standard of service to guests and WorldMark South Pacific Club Owners.

“Jack is a young professional with an unrivalled enthusiasm and passion for the hospitality industry and has already made his mark with guests and WorldMark South Pacific Club Owners in his previous roles,” he said.

“Jack’s commitment and dedication have been consistently recognised and make him the perfect choice to lead the team at this boutique resort.”

Earlier this year, Hudson was a finalist in the Front Office Associate category at the Australasian HM Awards, which acknowledges the accommodation industry’s leading staff, properties, brands and chains across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.

He also received Wyndham’s Promise Award, the highest company accolade recognising staff for going above and beyond their role.
