BHA increases member benefits with new partners

The British Hospitality Association (BHA) has announced two new partners, electronic point of sale specialists 3S POS and commercial insurance and risk management and insurance specialist NFU Mutual.

The latest offers are in addition to a comprehensive suite of business services the BHA provides for its members, including the recent introduction of a 24/7 legal and health and safety helpline offering members greater health and safety reassurance, and offers for card processing, insurance and utilities.

The BHA and 3S POS have established an exclusive partnership to provide intuitive, reliable and future proof EPOS systems for all BHA members in the hospitality sector.

3S POS

3S POS has over 15 years’ experience in developing, supplying and supporting mission critical EPOS systems for the hospitality industry across the UK. 3S POS will be able to offer BHA members a unique consultation process to enhance customer’s business operations through their customisation, integration and bespoke development services. 3S POS specialise in EPOS systems tailored for clients through the restaurant, quick service, cafe, deli, bar, pub, nightclub, hotel, catering and events sectors.

Emad Salib, founder and managing director of 3S POS, said: “As independent EPOS software developers, we’re quick to adapt to new technology advancements and consumer trends. We don’t have the red tape or internal bureaucracy issues like our competitors, which makes us more approachable to customers for customisation and bespoke development.

Salib said businesses that offer unique services and operations deserve a unique EPOS solution that’s adapted to meet their individual requirements.

“We are delighted to become the BHA’s first exclusive EPOS partner,” he added. “We share the same passion and commitment to serve the hospitality industry so whether you are a small independent or a multisite chain; we will offer our expert guidance and free consultation to all BHA members.”

NFU Mutual

With a network of over 300 specialist local Agents, NFU Mutual works extensively with hospitality businesses – from local coffee shops and bed and breakfasts to large chains of restaurants and boutique hotels.

Commenting on the partnership, Paul Shattock, hospitality sector specialist at NFU Mutual, said: “We know that in the course of everyday business you may risk business interruption through any number of issues – cyber attacks, damage to your property, loss of profits following damage at your premises, the loss of a key person through illness, or an outbreak of food poisoning. NFU Mutual has the expertise to help you plan for the unexpected and get you back on your feet should things go wrong.

“As a mutual, our reputation is built on putting our members first – a goal we share wholeheartedly with British Hospitality Association – and our partnership is just one of the ways we are looking to support and champion businesses operating in the hospitality sector.”

Phil Wade, the BHA’s marketing director, said: “At the BHA we are continually looking to forge new partnerships for the benefit of our members. Hospitality and tourism businesses face ever-growing complexity and a fast evolving, highly competitive market. Access to benefits such as those offered by 3S POS and NFU Mutual will help our members to thrive.”
