Jet2.com adds ski flights from Belfast International
Jet2.com is set to give skiers from Northern Ireland a piste of the action by reintroducing ski flights for Winter 2017/18 from Belfast International Airport.
The leisure airline will fly direct from Belfast International to Salzburg and, for the first time, Verona this winter. The two exclusive routes mark the reintroduction of ski flights from Belfast International, as well as the continued expansion of Jet2.com at the airport.
Both destinations are exclusive to Jet2.com from Belfast International, and will fly from December 30 (Salzburg) and January 6 (Verona) until the end of March.
The addition of weekly Saturday flights to both destinations expands Jet2.com’s biggest winter programme even further, with almost 70,000 seats on sale this winter.
Salzburg is the gateway to the Austrian Alps, providing access to a range of world-class ski resorts for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities, with connections to almost 350 ski resorts including Kaprun, Mayrhofen and Obertauern.
Incredible slopes
The introduction of ski flights to Verona opens up more than 150 ski resorts in the Dolomite Mountains, including Selva, Val Gardena, Arabba and Passo Tonale, offering thousands of kilometres of incredible slopes as well as unforgettable scenery.
Val Gardena alone, synonymous with the mystical Sella Ronda circuit, has 175km of pistes to explore. The resort is also part of the wider Dolomiti Superki, the biggest ‘ski carousel’ in the Alps with more than 1,200km of slopes that skiers of all levels can enjoy.
