Auction site boosts fundraising for Christel House

A new online auction site has been launched to support the fundraising efforts for the 15th RCI Christel House Golf Open, which takes place at Badgemore Park Golf Club on Monday 12 June.

People will have a chance to place bids at the Christel House Europe Auction site until 12 noon on the day of the tournament.

The auction will then officially close on the evening of the 12 June as part of the awards ceremony/dinner with a silent auction.

Any online bidders not attending the event who wish to take part in the silent auction will be able to submit a proxy bid with the maximum amount they would like to bid, and this will be entered on their behalf into the silent auction.

This year’s event will see 18 teams taking part in a friendly sporting contest on the course, and there will also be an informal gourmet barbecue. The new format is designed enable those participating to relax and enjoy the event and evening activities while catching up with old friends/acquaintances.

The auction features a range of excellent lots, including luxury accommodation, a cruise, numerous golf four-balls and student artwork, with every penny donated going directly to the students of Christel House.
