Bulgarian Jewel Resort joins RCI network
RCI has announced the affiliation of the Balkan Jewel Resort, the first Bulgarian resort into its holiday exchange network.
The affiliation means that members of the RCI exchange holiday programme will now be able to use their membership to holiday in the beautiful mountains of Pirin, close to Bansko, Bulgaria’s popular ski resort. Sitting in the foothills of the Pirin Mountains, the resort overlooks the Ian Woosnam-designed 18-hole Pirin Golf Course and, being a 10-minute drive from the Bansko ski slopes, is ideally situated for family and adventure holidays.
On resort, there is plenty to entertain, including a restaurant, fitness and spa centre, indoor swimming pool and children’s playground. For guests looking to get out and about, a free shuttle bus travels to the golf course and into the town of Razlog, as well as to the Gondola lifts to get to the ski slopes of Bansko.

The spacious accommodation options available at Balkan Jewel Resort range from studio to two-bedroom apartments. The resort also offers storage rooms for ski and golf equipment, plus a ski hire chalet where staff will make all bookings and reservations for guests.
The many guest services are designed to make a stay at the Balkan Jewel Resort as easy and comfortable as possible and include: babysitting services; free WiFi connection in all apartments and guest areas; car, bicycle and DVD hire; transport to the surrounding areas – which include Greece; excursions; and many on-resort activities and entertainments.
