Club Las Calas launches new website and digital marketing campaign

Lanzarote resort Club Las Calas has launched a digital marketing campaign aimed at increasing holiday rentals and timeshare owner sales by targeting and engaging the younger, family holiday market.

With a visually impressive content focus and inclusion of social media channels, the RCI Gold Crown Resort’s upgraded, mobile-friendly, search engine optimised website will be the foundation of all planned digital marketing activity.

In addition to the website, Club Las Calas will be active on all key social media platforms including Twitter (#lascalas), Facebook, and Instagram. This will raise the resort’s profile, increase guest and owner engagement and enhance awareness of Club Las Calas as a holiday destination.

These channels, improved website and an on-going email programme will engage potential guests with interesting, informative and educational content that will develop trust and authority.

Establishing trust

Once trust is established and regular communication made, it is believed clients/guests are far more likely to make a sales transaction (be it a rental or the purchase of a timeshare product), as, alongside the daily content, there will be continual sales messages throughout the communication sequences and contact.

The digital marketing campaign and upgraded website have been developed and implemented by Emily Collins at EVC Marketing.

“It is time for the timeshare industry to change the way it markets its products. Many of the original techniques from the 1980s and 90s are still in play today, causing irreparable damage to the industry,” said Collins.

“With advances in technology and increased accessibility, new, more effective marketing methods are now available to resorts of all sizes and ages – and not just the big players like developers and exchange organisations.”

The resort currently sells fixed week timeshare and a recently launched five-year membership product aimed at the younger market. There are two sales staff on-site who will handle any enquiries in Lanzarote with Resort Solutions managing all inbound sales enquiries in the UK.
