Hilton Worldwide has announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Yerevan City Centre, the company’s first hotel in Armenia.

The 176 guest room hotel is located in the business district of Yerevan alongside a number of international embassies, and provides spacious and multifunctional meeting facilities to host up to 700 delegates.

DoubleTree by Hilton Yerevan City Centre introduces Gold, a new restaurant featuring a rich menu of European and Italian specialities made from the freshest seasonal produce. Guests may also enjoy the spa and gym facilities which will include a spacious treatment room, comfortable relaxing zone, Hamam, Finnish sauna and cardio and weight training equipment.

Dianna Vaughan, senior vice president and global head, DoubleTree by Hilton, said: “We are thrilled to bring the Hilton Worldwide brand to Armenia with the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Yerevan City Centre.

‘Exciting destination’

“Armenia’s economy is experiencing continuous growth, making it an exciting destination for business and leisure travelers alike. We look forward to delivering our globally-recognized service culture to guests arriving from both inside and outside of Armenia, starting with the iconic warm chocolate chip cookie welcome presented to each guest upon arrival and extending through every aspect of their stay.”

Guests staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton Yerevan City Centre will enjoy being in close proximity to the historical Republic Square, as well as museums, shopping and entertainment precincts. Zvartnots International Airport is approximately 11 kilometres from the hotel, while Sasuntsi David Train Station and Zoravar Andranik metro station are a short distance from the hotel.

Luciano Casagrande, general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Yerevan City Centre, said: “It is a privilege to open Hilton Worldwide’s first hotel and introduce DoubleTree by Hilton’s renowned hospitality to guests in Yerevan.

“As one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, Yerevan has a rich history and culture, and is a vibrant destination for leisure and business travellers.”
