Major revamp for Quinta do Lago restaurant, clubhouse

Portuguese golf, leisure and lifestyle resort Quinta do Lago is set to unveil a fresh and elegant new look following a major refurbishment of its restaurant and clubhouse.

From March 2020 the five-star resort, located in one of the most affluent communities in the Algarve, will unveil a new look as it continues to invest in its gastronomic offering.

The Casa do Lago restaurant, which offers local seafood specialities with a stunning lakeside view, is getting a fresh new look, while the revamped North and South Clubhouses will be brighter, more spacious and more welcoming.

A hub for golfers who enjoy the exceptional facilities of Quinta do Lago, the Clubhouse will have options to host special events as well as a new shop and refreshed menu.

The Clubhouse

Expected to be completed by the end of March, the highly anticipated new clubhouse has been designed by local Portuguese architects Essencia Architects – the company that designed Quinta do Lago’s award-winning multi-sports hub The Campus.

The improved contemporary feel will be consistent from outdoors to indoors, with a larger outdoor area and more light travelling through the building – elevating the clubhouse to the same five-star standard of the resort’s other outstanding luxury golf and lifestyle facilities.

Casa do Lago

The revamp is continued through to Casa do Lago, a nautical-themed seaside restaurant resting on gorgeous blue water that can be admired from table view. The renovation will modernise the restaurant, introducing a grand fish tank, while maintaining the venue’s relaxed sailing atmosphere.

The revised menu will feature daily specials as well as high-end tapas and traditional Algarve cuisine, along with oysters and champagne complimented by live jazz music. The outdoor pool area will become a dedicated space for weddings and receptions, this idyllic spot is perfect for larger groups hoping for a venue that provides both luxury and ease.
