Olivier Chavy joins Board of Christel House
Olivier Chavy, president of RCI Exchanges, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Christel House International (CHI), the charity founded by RCI’s co-founder Christel DeHaan.
Chavy joins a dedicated group of professionals that guides the strategies of learning centres in Mexico, South Africa, India and the United States.
Christel DeHaan, Christel House founder and board chair, said: “We are delighted to welcome Olivier Chavy. His global experience and innovative strategies add an ideal perspective to the organisation.”
Vey much the timeshare industry’s charity of choice, Christel House was founded more than 20 years ago to transform the lives of impoverished children and lift them out of poverty, and it continues to grow, with an eighth school, Christel House Jamaica, scheduled to open in August 2020.

Christel DeHaan retired as CEO at the end of 2018 to be succeeded by former Indianapolis mayor, Bart Peterson, but she remains as board chair.
Olivier Chavy was named president of RCI Exchanges earlier this year, and prior to joining RCI, he served as CEO of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts. He has more than 30 years of international hospitality experience and executive leadership roles spanning luxury hotel and timeshare resort operations to global interior design.
