Hilton to manage major dual-branded hotel project in India
Hilton has signed a management agreement with Manyata Promoters Private Limited, part of the Embassy Group and one of the leading real estate developers in India, for a 586-room dual-branded hotel project in Embassy Manyata Business Park in North Bengaluru.
The move will create one of the largest dual-branded hotel projects in India, with a 250-room Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand hotel and a 336-room Hilton Garden Inn brand hotel. In addition to the full range of facilities and services, the hotel project will also offer 46,000 sq. ft. of Meetings and Events space.
Mixed-use development
Targeted to open in 2020, the dual-branded hotel project will be part of a mixed-use development that also includes two commercial towers and an extensive Food and Beverage Hub. It will be developed and owned by the Embassy Group and managed by Hilton.
Jim Holthouser, executive vice president, global brands, Hilton, said: “Sustainable expansion in India with a multi-brand and multiple-partners strategy is a strategic priority for Hilton.
