Hyatt brings new brand to India
Hyatt has introduced another of its hotel brands to India, with the opening of the Andaz Delhi.
Located in the Aerocity area, close to Indira Gandhi International Airport, the new upscale hotel will initially provide 401 rooms and suites, with 129 serviced apartments scheduled to follow later this year.
The rooms are also integrated into a book called ‘401 Reasons to Fall in Love with Delhi’, a copy of which will be placed in each room. The book highlights various aspects of Delhi, such as its heritage, culture and architecture, and forms part of the Andaz brand’s stated aim of reflecting the local flavour of its destinations.

The Andaz Delhi
Kurt Straub, Hyatt’s vice president of operations for India, said: “Andaz derives its name from the Hindi word for ‘personal style’ and each location offers guests a fresh and stimulating hotel experience that fuels creativity.
“The opening of Andaz Delhi marks a significant milestone for the brand.”
Andaz Delhi will feature an F&B outlet designed as a European food hall, with a multi-level Cantonese bar, club and lounge due to open later this year. There is also a heated swimming pool, gym, spa and almost 3,500 square metres of meeting space, including a ballroom and Indian wedding venue.
The Delhi hotel becomes the 16th Andaz property worldwide, following existing locations in cities including New York, London, Tokyo and Shanghai.
