Hilton to manage dual-branded hotel project in India
Hilton has signed a management agreement to run a 586-room dual-branded hotel project within Embassy Manyata Business Park in India’s fast-growing commercial micro-market of North Bengaluru.
The deal with Manyata Promoters Private Limited, part of the Embassy Group and one of the leading real estate developers in India, will create one of the largest dual-branded hotel projects in India and feature a 250-room Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand hotel and a 336-room Hilton Garden Inn brand hotel.
In addition to a full range of facilities and services, the hotel project will also offer 46,000 sq. ft. of meetings and events space. Targeted to open in 2020, the dual-branded hotel project will be part of a mixed-use development that also includes two commercial towers and an extensive food and beverage hub. It will be developed and owned by the Embassy Group and managed by Hilton.

This incredible country continues to deliver strong economic growth and the potential of its hospitality industry is exponential.

Guy Phillips, senior vice president, development – Asia and Australasia, Hilton, said: “We are very pleased to extend our strong partnership with the Embassy Group and bolster the success of the Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks through the management agreement for a 586-room dual-branded hotel project featuring two brands – our flagship Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand and popular upscale Hilton Garden Inn brand.
“We continue to see increasing brand awareness across our brand portfolio in India and this agreement underscores our long-term commitment to this country as a strategically important market where we now operate 15 hotels across 12 cities covering most major markets in the country.”
