Mahindra Holidays has developed a new product to cater to the needs of senior citizens and provide them with a safe and trusted hospitality partner.
Mahindra Bliss is a membership package for Empty Nesters to take memorable holidays with their loved ones in any of Club Mahindra’s 50 resorts, most of which are affiliated to RCI. Bliss Membership offers members the flexibility to visit any of the resorts, in any season, and is available in three categories – Bliss Classic, Bliss Premium and Bliss Signature.
The 10-year membership product’s catchphrase is “the good life begins at 50” – something it aims to demonstrate by giving users access to a range of special services including dedicated helpdesk, concierge, holiday booking, airport transfers, and more.
The product is designed to help senior citizens to make the most of their retirement, and reflects the growing number of ‘Active Silvers’ that are adventurous and open to explore new and exotic destinations and engage in varied experiences.

In recent years, travel trend reports have shown a huge rise in the number of seniors vacationing overseas, making them the new globetrotters eager to see the world. According to a TripAdvisor study, as many as 44 per cent of travellers from India increased their travel spends in 2016 – in many cases, Indians working abroad help to sponsor their elderly parents’ trips.
Pilgrimage tours or hosting grandkids are a thing of the past for older Indians. According to recent findings, international trips taken by Indians aged more than 65 years is likely to reach 967,000 in 2025 from 333,000 in 2015 — an increase of 193 per cent. The trend of seniors going on leisure trips, which has been a common feature among westerners for a long time, is now also gaining popularity among elderly Indians.
The Bliss product responds to these growing demands, and is designed to give senior citizens flexibility as well as security. In addition, a number of special activities designed to help guests make their most of their travels will also be available, including such as spa therapies, local sightseeing, yoga classes, meditation sessions, nature walks, hobby classes and more.
