Qatar Airways adds fifth daily flight to Muscat

Qatar Airways is adding another flight from Doha to Muscat from 1 August 2016, increasing the number of daily flights to five.

The move will provide travellers from around the world with even more choice when flying to Muscat, and takes Qatar Airways’s services up to 35 flights per week to the Omani capital city.

Passengers travelling from Muscat will now also have increased access to the rest of the world, with the ability to connect through Hamad International Airport in Doha.

Ehab Amin, Qatar Airways senior vice president commercial, said: “Both Doha and Muscat are popular cities that offer business, cultural and leisure opportunities to travellers.

“The additional flight is a response to increased demand on this popular route, and offers our passengers more convenience thereby empowering travellers with the ability to choose flights that are best suited to their unique requirements.”

Qatar Airways’ new flight to Muscat will depart from Doha at 02.20, arriving in Muscat at 07:00, with the return flight departing from Muscat at 06.45 and landing in Doha at 07:25.

The airline operates services to Muscat with its A320 aircraft, offering both its award-winning Business and Economy Class options to passengers.
