Ras Al Khaimah offers airport check-in at hotels

Ras Al Khaimah International Airport has announced the opening of ‘easy check-in services’ at hotel Double Tree by Hilton Ras Al Khaimah, in line with the emirate’s commitment to provide ease of travel for its visitors.

This new service is the first of its kind to become available for travellers in the UAE and is set to be rolled out in other prominent hotels and commercial venues across the Emirate.

The new easy check-in service will allow passengers to check-out from their hotel and directly check-in to their flight before leaving the hotel lobby. All the check-in services provided at airport will be available for passengers at the hotel reception, including boarding passes and baggage transportion to the airport.

After completing the check-in process, passengers will report straight to Immigration desk at Departure terminal making their journey even smoother and more relaxing.

Commenting on the introduction of the services, the airport’s chief executive officer Sanjay Khanna said: “I like to think that travel – be it business or leisure – is about collecting memorable experiences.

“It’s about understanding the audience mind-set and determining what will truly enhance their overall experience. We are constantly looking to delight our visitors with services and offers that they can only experience in Ras Al Khaimah and our new easy check-in service is a great example of this.”

All passengers travelling Enter Air, Travel Services, Smart Wings, Ural Airlines and Red Wings will be able to access this service free of charge. The service has been effective since early February, and since then it has been used by more than 500 passengers.
