Wyndham makes Grand entry into Southeast Asia
Southeast Asia’s first Wyndham Grand hotel will open in the popular Thai resort of Phuket later this year.
Wyndham Hotel Group has announced the signing of a management agreement with Parisorn Company for the new Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay, which is expected to open in November 2016.
The property, which is located just north of Patong, will feature 214 hotel rooms and 152 luxury pool villas, which will be managed by Club Wyndham Asia, the company’s vacation rental arm.

Overlooking the Andaman Sea, Wyndham Grand Phuket Kalim Bay will feature Thai and international restaurants, two outdoor swimming pools, a spa, fitness centre, kids’ club and space for meetings and events, including a large ballroom.

Wyndham is expanding rapidly in Southeast Asia, with the signing of the Phuket property coming soon after the company announced plans to operate the tallest hotel in Danang, Central Vietnam. In total, Wyndham now operates approximately 1,200 hotels across the Asia Pacific region.
