Anfi backs RCI product workshops
On 6 August 2016, RCI and Anfi Group joined forces to deliver an RCI product workshop to the Anfi sales and supporting teams, held at Hotel Rural Las Tirajanas in Gran Canaria.
Presented to a team of 130 staff, the workshop was developed as a product refresher. Bringing together the staff of mixed tenure, RCI presented the team with information on the latest range of RCI products and services.
The three-hour session was an opportunity to share the benefits of RCI membership, throughout the Anfi Vacation Club, and to share what RCI members are looking to get out of their timeshare ownership. The workshops are designed to increase knowledge about RCI membership, highlighting how RCI’s suite of products and services works to bring holiday and lifestyle benefits to Anfi members.
Commenting on the initiative, Stefan Mende, sales director, Anfi Group, said: “RCI is one of our key partners and it was great for our new, as well as experienced staff, to refresh their RCI product knowledge. The RCI Presenter tool, in particular, was very well received.

“The workshop gave a better understanding of the RCI product benefits, which is useful in our day-to-day business, not just for the sales team, but also for sales support and customer contact departments too. We hope to repeat similar workshops in the future.”
Ovidio Zapico, RCI Business Development regional director for Spain, said: “The workshop was the ideal opportunity to engage with the Anfi team, to share updates and field any queries. It was really invaluable for us all to work together.”
Despite the soaring weekend temperatures, Anfi also organised a team building session as part of the day’s events. “Joining in with the team building event has allowed the RCI team to get to know the Anfi team better,” Zapico added. “By working more collaboratively, we can all focus on the bigger picture: increasing resort sales and sending even more RCI members on great holidays.”
The event paves the way for future workshops, with requests coming in on the day for the workshops to become a permanent fixture. RCI does have plans to roll out the product workshops to more resorts across its regions.
