RCI pledges $60,000 to ARDA International Foundation
RCI made a $60,000 pledge to the ARDA International Foundation (AIF) for industry research and education during ARDA World 2017 in New Orleans.
AIF is a nonprofit organisation led by the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) that serves to foster career opportunities and development through education and training programmes and advance knowledge of the industry through comprehensive market intelligence.
Gordon Gurnik, president of RCI, said: “The entire timeshare industry benefits from the great work that is being done through the AIF. We make driving the timeshare industry forward a top priority at RCI, so we’re pleased to continue ongoing support of the organisation’s valuable research and educational programmes.”

RCI presented the contribution to the AIF at the opening General Session of ARDA World 2017. As the global leader in vacation exchange, the company is a long-time advocate of the AIF and continuously encourages efforts that help further develop and promote the timeshare industry.
Howard Nusbaum, ARDA president and CEO, said: “The market intelligence that AIF generates is critical to our industry’s ability to make good business decisions and fundamental for ARDA’s advocacy efforts.
“In addition, AIF provides essential educational programming and tools for our industry, and RCI’s generosity greatly contributes to the success of these efforts.”
Established in 1982 to fulfill the research needs of the industry, AIF has grown to provide a multitude of services to vacation ownership professionals. These initiatives include research and market intelligence, professional education and certification and scholarship programmes.
