Oman Air and Europcar forge partnership deal

Oman Air’s frequent flyer programme Sindbad has teamed up in a partnership deal with Europcar, the leading car rental provider in Europe and a major mobility player.

Sindbad members will now be awarded with 500 miles every time they rent with Europcar – all they need to do is quote their Sindbad number when booking and present their membership card when collecting their vehicle.

Sindbad members will benefit from Europcar’s mobility services, getting access to one of the largest car rental networks with a presence in over 140 countries as well as being an awarded car rental company, in particular in the Middle East by World Travel Awards since 2005.

Mohammed Mubarak Al Shikely, Oman Air’s vice president marketing, said: “We are delighted to announce this partnership with Europcar and are pleased to offer more options to our Sindbad members to enhance their travel experience.

“Oman Air is committed to going the extra mile on behalf of our customers, giving them more opportunities to earn miles and our new partnership with Europcar shows how we are continually adding to the range of benefits we offer.”

Marcus Bernhardt, chief commercial officer of Europcar Group, added:  “We are delighted with this new partnership in the Middle East with Oman Air’s Sindbad Frequent Flyer Programme. It consolidates our presence in this part of the world, benefiting from the dynamism of the tourist market, especially to European countries, and providing us with a great opportunity to benefit from new customers for whom we can provide interesting rewards.”
