Macdonald Resorts earns plaudits for guest service
Leading European developer Macdonald Resorts is celebrating after receiving a number of accolades for the quality of its guest service.
The UK-based company earned a Booking.com Guest Service Award 2018 for eight of its holiday resorts across the UK and Spain – Macdonald La Ermita Resort, Macdonald Leila Playa, Macdonald Villacana, Macdonald Doña Lola, Macdonald Lochanhully Woodland Club, Macdonald Plas Talgarth, Macdonald Forest Hills Resort and Macdonald Spey Valley Golf & Country Club, all of which are affiliated to RCI.
The awards programme is Booking.com’s annual appreciation programme that recognises accommodation providers for their excellent hospitality according to review scores left by guests after their stay. The score is based on all the reviews published on the website 24 months before 1 November 2018.

The latest plaudits come in the wake of four Macdonald resorts earning TripAdvisor Hall of Fame awards in 2018.
Michael Stott, chief executive officer of Macdonald Resorts, said: “Over the past 12 months we’ve accumulated a number of prestigious awards for customer service at Macdonald Resorts which is a real testament to our hard-working staff across all locations.
“Providing excellent service and unforgettable holidays is at the heart of everything we do, to have this recognised and rewarded by our own guests represents the greatest seal of approval.
“We thank everyone for leaving such positive feedback on our guest service over the past year and look forward to delivering award-winning service to our guests for many more years to come.”
